Planning Underway for Trull’s 2024 Party in the Park

Trull Village – 8th June 2024. Plans are now well underway for the 2024 Trull Party in the Park on Saturday 13th July, a bi-annual event that sees the community turn out for music, games, stalls, food, and refreshment.

This year’s celebration commences at 14.00 at Trull’s award winning King George V Playing Field. Activities will include an Animal Mask Competition, (a procession of masks will kick-off proceedings, led from the Church Community Centre), an Open Mic stage for young talent, craft stalls, Sharandy’s Birds of Prey, plant stalls, various games, and a kids activity centre, including a bouncy castle. The Scouts will be providing food, and landlord Patrick and his team at the Winchester Arms, the bar and refreshment. The evening will wrap up at 9.30pm.

Big Noise (7pm)

Fun Puppets (7.45pm-9.30pm)

The ice cream van will be on site; Trull WI will be offering cream teas; while Trull School, Trull Saplings Pre-School, Trull Tennis Club, and Trull Cricket Club will all be involved in stalls and games. And let’s not forgot our local theatre group, the Trull Players, who will be doing story sessions. This truly is an all singing, all dancing village event.

Last year’s Coronation spectacular, proved to be a resounding success, with the village and beyond turning out en masse to enjoy the day. Let’s make 2024’s party another one to remember.
